Food at
St Catherine’s
The communal Dining Hall is a central feature of College living. Set meal times provide meaningful opportunities to socialise, engage in thought-provoking discussions and share meals together. The in-house Head Chef and Catering Team attend to every taste and dietary requirement — western, Asian, vegetarian, gluten-free and more. The Dining Hall also serves as the venue for some of the most distinguished events on Curtin’s campus, many of which take place in the Dining Hall or Private Dining Room.

Indigenous Access
Our Indigenous Access Flagship Program, Dandjoo Darbalung, has a dedicated space that will be used by all residents to practice culture, catch up on studies, get tutoring or meet up with friends. The space will also be the heart of Dandjoo Darbalung's two-way cultural immersion, offering opportunities to learn more about the rich culture of Australia’s First Peoples.
Centre for Youth Innovation
(INNOVATION HUB) St Catherine’s College is proud to offer Bloom: The Centre for Youth Innovation, Western Australia’s leading youth entrepreneurial community.
Its co-working space, the BloomLab, will be located within the College and is opening soon. It is an exciting, dynamic space where young, entrepreneurial people can create, network and change the world with their innovative ideas.
Breakout Spaces
On every level, there are casual breakout spaces designed to make socialising with your closest neighbours easy and enjoyable.
Private Study Rooms
Dedicated study areas and group study rooms are available on every level of the College.
Music Room
When you need a break from quiet time, the College offers a sound-proof music room for all residents to enjoy.
Central Courtyard
St Catherine’s is designed around a large central courtyard with natural and structured shading. You will find spaces to sit and dream or places to kick a footy.
Safety & Security
The safety and security of our residents is our number one priority. A personal access card is provided to each resident and we use state-of-the-art CCTV throughout our buildings.
Rooftop Garden
The College is fortunate to have an stunning rooftop garden, which is used year-round for small group gatherings and larger social events.
Onsite Laundry
With washers and dryers onsite, you can get your laundry done without leaving the building.
Curtin Stadium
Fitness Centre
As a resident at St Catherine’s, you will receive an all-inclusive Curtin Stadium gym membership, granting you access to Curtin’s Recreation and Fitness Centre. Staying fit and active has never been easier.
Curtin Stadium is fully equipped with everything you need for your workout, including over 120 cardio and resistance weight machines. You will also have access to more than 35 group fitness classes each week, as well as indoor and outdoor courts for squash, tennis, basketball, volleyball, badminton, netball and indoor soccer.
