This will help you familiarise yourself with the expectations of being a resident at St Catherine’s. We are home to 400 students and uphold a clear code of conduct to ensure a respectful and harmonious community.

Your start date

Your arrival date is the same as the start date in your contract. You must inform the College if you plan to arrive after your contract start date. We kindly request that you arrive on a weekday between 9:00am and 4:00pm.

What to bring

Our rooms are semi-furnished to provide you with a comfortable, welcoming space. All you need to bring are your linens and any special touches to make your room feel like home. If you are staying in a Studio Room, please note that you will need to bring your own crockery.

Formal Hall attire:
Please bring suitable attire and appropriate footwear for events.

Orientation Week

O’Week takes place at the start of each semester and is designed to help you settle in before classes begin. Across welcome events, workshops, tours and info sessions, you will connect with fellow residents, meet staff and start to feel at home.
