Interview preparation information

Residency at St Catherine’s College is competitive, so it is essential to prepare thoughtfully for your interview. The interview is an opportunity for us to get to know you beyond your academic record. We are seeking students who are ready to make the most of their university experience and contribute meaningfully to the life of the College.

St Catherine’s offers outstanding academic, cultural and leadership opportunities in a collegiate setting. It is not a one-size-fits-all environment, and we seek students who demonstrate initiative, maturity and a commitment to excellence.

Reflect on the following:

  • Why do you want to live at St Catherine’s and how will you contribute to the life of the College?

  • What do service and excellence mean to you?

  • What are your academic and personal goals?

  • What are your cultural connections or travel experiences?

  • What current affairs or social justice issues interest you?
