Policies and Procedures

St Catherine’s College is a vibrant living and learning community. Respectful relationships underpin our core values of Diversity, Integrity, Courage and Leadership.

Every member of the College community should feel safe, supported and able to participate fully in College life. Your success matters to us.

The College expects all members to uphold our values and conduct themselves accordingly. Residents must be familiar with and follow the Code of Conduct and Ethics, as well as all College Policies.

St Catherine’s does not tolerate harassment, bullying, hazing, sexual misconduct or discrimination. If you experience or witness any such behaviour, please report it.

Training

All new residents must complete compulsory training, usually held during Orientation Week. For those unable to attend, repeat sessions are offered throughout the semester, with four sessions available across the year. Training covers:

• Consent and Healthy Relationships
• Being an Ethical Bystander
• Responsible Use of Alcohol
• Ongoing Workshops to foster a caring, supportive community (such as Listening with Intent and Conflict Resolution)

Support Staff, including all Senior Staff, are always available to assist and can connect residents with a wide range of professional support services, resources and external providers.
