Commencement Dinner

Every Semester brings in fresh faces and a fresh start for our “Fresher” students. The Commencement Dinner marks the beginning of the academic year, welcoming all residents to celebrate a fresh start and a new semester. Some may say that this is our Hogwarts opening feast.

Commencing Semester 2, St Catherine’s are always sure to be inclusive to everyone when it comes to celebrating the festive spirit of our community.

Semester 2’s Commencement Dinner implemented a plethora of luxurious goods, including a mouth-watering spread of food and upbeat music, as well as drinks on the house for all residents to engage in and enjoy.

To make it easier for our residents to settle into St Cats, we traditionally open the Semester hosting numerous activities across a week, which we like to call O-Week (short for Orientation).

The Commencement Dinner has become a long-standing tradition as a lovely way to welcome our Semester 2 Freshers, serving as the perfect “ice-breaker” between students and the College.
