Banksia RA Profile Sharissa Farley

Shar has been a resident at the College for one year and is in her second year of a Bachelor of Biomedical Science, majoring in Neuroscience at The University of Western Australia. Last year, Shar was a fresher resident and this year, she is one of the Banksia RA’s.

Her favourite place to study is on the third floor at Reid Library because it’s quiet, allowing her to focus on her studies and be productive. Her favourite place to enjoy a coffee is The Tenth State because it’s a fun place to meet up with friends for some good coffee.

Shar’s favourite memory at St Cat’s was the Battle of the Bands 2021 at Metro City in Northbridge.

She applied to become an RA to make an impact in the community and help the 2022 freshers have an amazing first year!

Shar’s advice to incoming freshers is to have fun! Get out of your comfort zone and do things you would not normally do.
