Maya RA Profile Sam Lanagan

Sam has been a resident at the College for one year and is in his second year of a … at the University of Western Australia. Last year, Sam was a fresher resident and this year, he is one of our Maya RAs.

His favourite place to study is in his room as he like being in his own space to have a quiet peaceful place to study. His favourite place to enjoy a drink is anywhere UWA as long as he’s with friends and the coffee is good.

Sam’s favourite college memory was winning the Sport Cup in 2021, everyone was so excited and we all celebrated!

He applied to become an RA because he wanted to be actively involved in college life and help others achieve their goals.

Sam’s advice to incoming freshers is don’t be afraid to say yes, but also take care of yourself.
