Upper Whitfeild RA Profile Jaimee Whirledge
Jaimee has been a resident at College for one year and is in her second year of a Bachelor of Performance Making degree at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Last year, Jaimee was a fresher resident and this year she is one of our Upper Whitfeild RA’s.
Her favourite place to study is outside in the summertime, but she has recently discovered the power of 3rd floor Reid Library! Her favourite place to enjoy a coffee with some friends is at Boubar, because it’s so close to College, but she also loves the coffee strip along Cottesloe beach.
Jaimee favourite memory at St Cat’s was a solid tie between watching Char Tinley kill three people in 10 minutes during assassin’s week 2021, and all the late-night chats in the Upper Whitfield common room last year.
She applied to become an RA because being an RA us the best way to keen engaged with the Cats community and also the best way to meet all the freshers! Moving to college was the best decision she ever made, and so I want to support cats as much as I can!
Jaimee’s advice to incoming freshers is that sleep is your best friend! College life is so hectic in the best way, so make sure you’re looking after yourself and sleeping enough, keeping healthy, etc.
