Dandjoo Darbalung. Living Culture.

Cultural immersion through experience and exchange

Dandjoo Darbalung is shaped by relational learning, deep listening and mutual respect. These values strengthen relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous residents, creating a shared space of growth and understanding.

In-College Cultural Experiences

Residents lead Cultural events that inspire learning and reflection, including campfire circles, celebrations and peer-led programs. The Kaartdijin Program (‘knowledge’ in Noongar) invites non-Indigenous students to deepen their understanding of First Nations perspectives and engage meaningfully in reconciliation. Community Engagement

Dandjoo Darbalung students lead culturally grounded mentoring and storytelling workshops with schools and organisations, sharing knowledge, building leadership and creating intergenerational impact. These experiences open space for transformation for both the community and those involved.
