  • Please bring:

    • Linen: sheets, pillows, blankets

    • Personal items: clothing, toiletries

    • Study materials and stationery

    • Decorative items to personalise your space

    • Formal attire for events such as the Welcome Reception, Valedictory Dinner and Formal Hall:

      • Cocktail dresses

      • Button-up shirts

      • Dress pants

      • Formal shoes (flat or heeled)

    Our annual College Ball takes place in Semester 2. A special night that calls for your best attire, whether that is a ball gown or a tuxedo.

    • Animals are not permitted, though staff occasionally bring friendly dogs you are welcome to interact with.

    • Large furniture. Rooms are semi-furnished with a bed, desk, chair and cupboard.

    • Cooking appliances such as kettles, toasters and rice cookers are allowed in Studio Rooms. For safety reasons, these items are not permitted in Single Rooms.

  • You can:

    • Pay in full at the start of each semester

    • Set up fortnightly direct debits via PaySmart

    Our Accounts Team will be in touch a few weeks before your move-in date with either your invoice or PaySmart instructions.

    • PaySmart: $11 setup fee, $1.95 admin fee per transaction, $15 dishonoured fee

    • Visa/MasterCard: 2.5% surcharge

    • American Express: 5.5% surcharge

    Direct debit payments must come from an Australian transactional account (not savings).

    • Fully catered meals: 21, 14 or 7 per week

    • Utilities: reverse-cycle air conditioning

    • High-speed Wi-Fi throughout the College

    • Cleaning: daily common areas, weekly rooms

    • Academic support: tutoring, mentoring, study groups

    • Career readiness: workshops, career counselling, networking dinners

    • Access to UWA gym, sports courts and pool

    • Full calendar of social, cultural and sporting events

    • Wellbeing services and personal support

    • Bloom Program: free youth innovation membership

    • Cultural Immersion: workshops and the Dandjoo Darbalung Program

    Note: The Semester 2 College Ball is optional and incurs a separate fee.

    • Premium Single Room: Includes 21 meals per week

    • Studio Rooms: Includes 7 meals per week with an option to upgrade to 14 or 21 meals per week

    • Premium Single Room residents with 21 meals cannot downgrade

    • Studio Room residents with 21 or 14 meals can request to downgrade to 14 or 7 meals

  • Cooking or boiling water in Single Rooms is strictly prohibited due to fire risk and may result in costly call-outs. Communal kitchenettes are available for preparing snacks.

  • Yes, every room comes with its own desk and you will also have access to multiple quiet and collaborative study spaces throughout the College.

    • Early move-in: Only possible with a confirmed summer booking at an additional cost. Contact uwa.admissions@stcats.com.au for more information.

    • Late move-in: Yes, but please notify us in advance so we can prepare for your late arrival.

    Otherwise, you must arrange alternative accommodation. Local options include:

  • Yes, you are welcome to send packages up to three to five days before you arrive. Please label them clearly with your full name and use the following address for delivery: St Catherine’s College, 2 Park Road, Crawley WA 6009.

  • Please look at the following options:

    If you are not using the shuttle, we recommend taking a taxi or Uber.

  • Email your arrival date and time to reception@stcats.com.au

    If arriving after 5.00pm and before 10.00pm, we will arrange for a Residential Assistant to provide your room key. If you arrive after 10.00pm you will need to check in to a hotel.

    Visit Reception the next day (8.30am to 5.00pm) for full check-in and to collect your College merchandise.

  • Yes, the College has three large laundries and several smaller ones. They are all equipped with washers, dryers, ironing boards and irons. Machines are either token-operated (tokens available from Reception) or accept debit or credit cards.
